Introductions

Hello,

My name is Cate Wilcox and I have taken the reigns of Student Council this year. This is my second year at Rincon High School where I hold the position of AVID Teacher and Program Coordinator. As a council, we have decided to focus on three pillars this year: Family, Communication, and Leadership. We are passionate about creating a campus that is inclusive and safe. I am learning my new role as Student Council Advisor moment to moment. This year, being vastly different than any year prior, I have my work cut out for me. Like all of us, I am hanging on as well as I can as we are whipped and spun through this very unknown and intense time; learning during a pandemic, quite the rollercoaster ride.
